About The Position

Homesura is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead daily HR operations and partner with leadership to drive a positive, high-performing workplace. This role oversees talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, benefits, compliance, and HR strategy while ensuring a consistent, supportive employee experience. Homesura is an innovation hub working to help transform the home-and-community-based care system for Medicaid recipients and underserved communities in Minnesota. With dedicated funding, we support programs that improve patient lives, workforce retention, mental health access, and efficiency. By partnering with innovative organizations committed to coordination and developing new technologies, we aim to spur a more efficient, patient-centered system while ensuring long-term sustainability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of progressively responsible HR experience; 2+ years in a leadership/manager capacity preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition and talent management activities is required.
  • 3+ years of experience working closely with compensation, and all benefit programs is preferred.
  • Experience in onboarding, training, presenting to audiences is strongly preferred.
  • Must have demonstrated strong employee relations skills including investigation skills, conflict management and problem solving.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state and local employment laws.
  • Professional HR Certification such as PHR or SHRM-CP a plus.
  • Proficiency with ATS platforms, HRIS systems, and Microsoft Office/Teams. Paylocity experience a plus.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through.
  • Demonstrated experience in change management, being comfortable with ambiguity and helping others work through change is highly preferred.
  • Must have ability to break down complex processes/systems/requirements into understandable terms and explain the “why’s” behind standards or decisions.
  • Must have excellent customer service and effective conflict resolution or problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to work and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Must pass a background study with the Minnesota Department of Human Services.
  • Must be able to work independently, manage multiple projects efficiently, and meet deadlines.
  • Must have excellent professional, ethical and confidential behavior and skills at all times.
  • All employees when working remotely will be required to adhere to company remote work policies.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with leaders to implement HR strategies that support organizational goals.
  • Lead culture, engagement, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Coach managers on performance, employee relations, and team development.
  • Oversee full-cycle recruiting and workforce planning.
  • Manage employee relations, investigations, and conflict resolution.
  • Ensure meaningful, timely performance review processes.
  • Lead onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle activities.
  • Administer benefits, compensation reviews, and HRIS accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with federal/state employment laws, policies, FMLA/PFML/ADA, OSHA, and safety practices.
  • Manage workers’ compensation and unemployment processes.
