About The Position

The recruiter position interviews, tests and refers applicants for both exempt and non-exempt positions from both internal and external sources. Creates and coordinates internal and external job postings. May confer with managers to identify screening guidelines for resumes and candidates to ensure that potential candidates meet functional needs and requirements of the available position. The person in this position is required to stay current on the company’s organization structure, personnel policies, and federal and state laws regarding employment practices. Additional duties include assisting with preparation of certain aspects of the budget for the Human Resources department ensuring services are delivered in a cost-effective manner.

Requirements

  • 0-2 years of human resources corporate recruiting experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Basic understanding of EEO, ADA, and other related employment laws and guidelines.
  • Skills in database management and record keeping
  • Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work
  • Organized, flexible and multitask oriented
  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
  • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.

Nice To Haves

  • HRIS experience (ADP)
  • Financial industry experience
