QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma or equivalent Two to three years of experience in an office with considerable public contact or an equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training that demonstrates desired knowledge, skills, and abilities Minimum 6 months experience in an educational institution or human resources setting, preferred Working knowledge of computer word-processing and Microsoft Office applications, and Google. Ability to obtain a valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card Ability to obtain and maintain Arizona Notary through the State of Arizona. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Complete human resource office duties, receive visitors, answer inquiries, and provide general information relevant to the department. Perform confidential and routine human resources and district recruitment assignments. Applying knowledge of the school district organization, policies, and processes applicable to the function and office routines. Conduct new hire, volunteer, and substitute onboarding/orientation per the established program, record and track onboarding requirements, and complete related tasks. Oversee the substitute program. Assist with new hire applications, interview process and reference checks on all prospective employees. Perform data entry of information in the appropriate district software and maintain employee files. Provide support and guidance to employees, volunteers, and substitutes and respond to inquiries regarding human resource-related policies, procedures, and programs. Verify I-9s and Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS) Employee Enrollment. Create District badges. Compose correspondence independently. Perform departmental audits of employee personnel files. Follow practices and procedures related to personnel file storage and retention.
