About The Position

Chastain’s Human Resource (HR) Department is responsible for managing the firms most important asset, its PEOPLE!  HR supports the full employee lifecycle, ensures compliance with labor laws, fosters a positive workplace culture and aligns workforce strategies with business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Help Chastain attract, screen, hire and onboard qualified employees, including new hire training.
  • Manage of job postings, scheduling and coordination of interviews.
  • Career fair coordination
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and workplace issues.
  • Promote a respectful, inclusive and productive work environment.
  • Administer timesheet posting and payroll, benefits and incentive/performance programs, in conjunction with the accounting department.
  • Continuous training and coordination of info on Chastain support modules to keep up-to-date internal employee info, including the Employee Handbook and Chastain’s career section of our website.
  • Support the performance review process.
  • Assist with goal setting, coaching and development training
  • Identify training needs and coordinate professional development.
  • Assist management in supporting leadership development and succession planning.
  • Coordination of education and training of staff.
  • Schedule internal Lunch and Learns between presenters, staff and admin.
  • Develop, implement and enforce HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR information systems.
  • Protect confidentiality and data integrity.
  • Works closely with management and employees at all levels.
  • Collaborate with finance and operations as needed.
