As an HVAC Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for daily support activities, including: Assisting site Leadership in the execution of all daily operations for the facilities team. Monitoring and adjusting the building HVAC and mechanical systems, acknowledging critical building alarms, and taking appropriate corrective actions and responding after hours should repairs be needed. Acting as technical expert in the areas of HVAC Providing a level of expertise in performing preventive and corrective maintenance to a wide variety of industrial or commercial facility HVAC equipment. Identifying and correcting any safety-related issues and performing independent equipment evaluations to identify potential equipment failures. Operating, maintaining, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing ventilation equipment, pumps, fans, chillers, rooftop AHU’s, split systems, compressors, refrigeration, and other mechanical equipment as needed. Utilizing the building automation system to track building conditions and the operation of facilities equipment. Utilizing strong mechanical and electrical skills to complete assignments. Performing preventive maintenance on HVAC control and operating systems as scheduled from a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Responding and providing service and feedback to the customer on all work orders while assuring compliance to codes, regulations and industry standards. Performing the functions of the position including following proper safety guidelines such as job hazard analysis, lockout/tagout, and wearing PPE as required. Operating various measuring, diagnostic, and testing instruments to help provide energy efficiency solutions. Complying with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Maintaining a strict schedule to be successful in the assignment. Performing other duties as assigned by Management or Lead.
