Requirements

  • Is c urrently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Practical knowledge or coursework in HVAC, estimating, engineering, construction management, or contracting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Quick learner with the ability to grasp complex concepts comfortably.
  • Open to change and adaptable in finding innovative solutions.
  • Able to make sound decisions even in uncertain or ambiguous situations.
  • Ability to successfully prioritize tasks and organiz e people and resources to achieve results efficiently.
  • Capable of analyzing processes, simplifying workflows, and optimizing productivity.
  • Effective in managing people and resolving conflicts constructively.
  • Proactive in identifying opportunities and driven to achieve goals.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for building and maintaining relationships with customers, manufacturers, and peers.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with MEP consulting, architecture, design, CAD, general contracting, mechanical contracting, or the engineering/construction industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain comprehensive job files for each project throughout its lifecycle.
  • Optimize projects through all stages, including product selection, specifications, planning, estimating, proposals, value engineering, and redesigns.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
  • Communicate effectively with owners, architects, MEP consultants, and general, mechanical, and electrical contractors.
  • Organize and maintain project-related data for accurate order entry.
  • Respond to and track IOM and submittal requests in a timely manner .
  • Read, interpret, and apply building plans and specifications.
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with customers, contractors, project engineers, and manufacturers.
  • Assess project requirements, constraints, and sales team responsibilities to meet customer expectations for system design, installation, and maintenance.
  • Investigate concerns, implement corrective actions, and communicate with customers and co-workers to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
