About The Position

We are hiring for: IDD Training Coordinator Type: Regular If you are a positive and personable individual looking for a satisfying and fun opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of people with intellectual, developmental disabilities, and people facing mental health, and substance use challenges, join our team at RHA Health Services! Performs a variety of Training and Administrative functions for a single business location including: coordinating the unit training records, maintaining employee training files, processing employee paperwork, conducting new hire training orientation and re-certification training classes, may also assist with other employee administrative functions as needed. Must retain certifications for all IDD trainings required for instructor. This position is an individual contributor that typically reports to the Business Office Manager. Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED Required.
  • Valid driver’s license including personal vehicle insurance coverage if applicable.
  • Must maintain proficiency in company sponsored training and certifications and privileging if required.
  • Pre-employment screening: Complete criminal background Name checked in the registries. (OIG exclusions database, Child Abuse Registry, and Offenders Against Individuals with Developmental Disabilities) Drug testing Education verification and other credentialing based on position requirements. Proof of employment history or references (if required) Positions that require driving Proof of driver's license, driver's insurance, and vehicle, IF required for providing transportation for individuals.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field preferred.
  • One year of HR, Training or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Participates in orientation training, developing schedules, entering data and performing external compliance tasks.
  • Manages employee training files by performing the following duties.
  • Provides information to applicants regarding training policies required for organization.
  • Instructs participants for training completeness, and obtains additional information in preparation for training, and skills.
  • Keeps participants informed of training status during orientation.
  • Enters and maintains information in a computer.
  • Documents employee selections in accordance with company goals & policy and in compliance with employment regulations.
  • Performs other responsibilities related to employment and training requirements
  • All other duties as assigned.
