About The Position

The IND COS Cell Assembler will ensure parts that are produced meet specifications and quality standards. The assembler will operate the heat seal and hand burn the buttons with a hand torch to complete the job and will work closely with supervisor to accomplish production demands.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age
Experience with safety and environmental training
Minimum 1 year manufacturing/factory experience preferred in a fast-paced setting
Basic math and computer skills
Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers, supervision, and management

Responsibilities

Understanding and following policies, procedures and instructions
Identifying and reporting product, process and quality system non-conformities to lead personnel
Controlling nonconforming products
Supporting implementation of corrective/preventive and improvement actions
Responsible for day-to-day housekeeping of the surrounding production floor area.
Run cells through the heat seal machine
Leak test cell
Bond the post to the cover bushing using a burning ring and a hand held torch.
Skid cells into a tub or a skid (depending on where they are going).
Connect the cells into a circuit so they can go to the next operation of forming.
Be familiar and compliant with the systems, procedures and documentation of the Crown Quality System and how it relates to this position and Crown quality objectives.
