SummaryThe Indirect Tax Associate will be responsible for indirect processes, which supports critical business operations between the tax department, finance department and regulatory entities, in such a way as to meet and exceed objectives by performing the following duties.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university preferred
- One or more years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to choose the right mathematical methods or formulas to solve a problem. The ability to add, subtract, multiply, or divide quickly and correctly.

Responsibilities
- Accurately input tax payment invoices into the payment system.
- Prepare and submit local beverage excise tax filings in compliance with regulations.
- Investigate and resolve tax notices promptly and efficiently.
- Maintain, update, and organize tax records for easy retrieval and audit purposes.
- Prepare and file sales tax returns and other related filings as required.
- Conduct research, review, and process unclaimed property items to ensure compliance.
- Issue resale certificates and manage related documentation
