TRUMPF is seeking candidates for an internship in the Industrial Engineering Department at our Farmington, CT location. This internship will provide a college-level student with practical and professional experience that will enhance and compliment their classroom learning. This internship will be onsite May 2026 to December 2026 for at least 32 hours a week. Production & Project Work Duties Lead individual improvement projects and support existing improvement projects within the department Analysis and improvement of production processes (e.g., internal logistics, MRP, industrial engineering, final assembly) Support Industrial Engineering in New Product Introductions and product ramp-ups / ramp-downs Develop and maintain key metrics (KPIs) and visualize department KPIs

Requirements

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail is required.
  • Strong inter-personal communication skills and ability to work as a team player.
  • Must be a student enrolled in an accredited university or institution pursuing an undergraduate’s degree in a related field.
