The Role: The Industrial Mechanic is responsible for ensuring quality service and installation for our customers and doing so by always promoting safety. Job sites will vary amongst our industrial customer locations throughout the service area.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Basic understanding of trade principles and concepts.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to safety and following established protocols.

Nice To Haves

  • Vocational school or prior training preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience in stainless steel pipe/tubing welding a plus.
  • Fabrication of parts and materials experience a plus.
  • Light rigging and millwright experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Experience completing mechanical projects within a manufacturing/industrial setting
  • Experience in structural and pipe welding.
  • Knowledge and experience in stainless steel pipe/tubing welding a plus.
  • Experience in structural and pipe fitting.
  • Fabrication of parts and materials experience a plus.
  • Light rigging and millwright experience a plus.
  • Able to use hands to control tools and materials while being able to lift up to 85 pounds.
  • Able to work from high locations from ladders, lifts, and/or scaffolding
  • Able to work in cramped, awkward, and/or confined spaces while kneeling, bending, crouching, or stooping for prolonged periods of time.
