About The Position

Loch Harbour Group, Inc. (LHG) is seeking Information System Security Specialist III (Contingent Upon Award) to support cybersecurity engineering, authorization, and assessment activities for DoD information systems. This role is responsible for implementing security controls, supporting RMF activities, and maintaining system compliance using approved DoD tools and processes.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or high school equivalency certificate.
  • Five (5) years of experience in the following:
  • Cybersecurity, Engineering, Test and Evaluation (T&E) or Authorization and Assessment (A&A) (formerly C&A) related field.
  • Information Assurance tools such as Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS), Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS).
  • Microsoft Windows Operating System Administration, including Windows 11, Windows 10, Windows 7, and Windows XP (at a minimum).
  • Command line interface, PowerShell, and performing automated tasking through use of code.
  • Must hold one of the following certifications (Required skill):
  • CompTIA Security+ CE (Security+ CE)
  • CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+)
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate Security (CCNA Security)
  • Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)
  • GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC)
  • GIAC Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP)
  • Certified Network Defender (CND)
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Active Secret clearance| Interim acceptable at award
  • Willingness to travel to up to 20%

Responsibilities

  • Support cybersecurity engineering, Test & Evaluation (T&E), and Authorization & Assessment (A&A) activities.
  • Execute RMF tasks in support of system accreditation and continuous monitoring.
  • Utilize DISA Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) and Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS).
  • Administer and secure Microsoft Windows operating systems (Windows 11, 10, 7, XP).
  • Perform command-line operations and automate tasks using PowerShell or scripting.
  • Support vulnerability scanning, remediation tracking, and compliance documentation.
  • Collaborate with system owners, engineers, and ISSOs to ensure security posture compliance.
