About The Position

Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is hiring an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) at Annapolis Junction, Maryland. Qualified candidates must have a TS/SCI and Polygraph clearance. Responsibilities: · Provide the government customer expert technical assistance to enable the Information Assurance (IA) program of an organization, system, or enclave · Implement and enforce information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies · Prepare and maintain security documentation and records · Evaluate security solutions for processing classified information · Advise configuration management (CM) for information system security software, hardware, and firmware · Serve as the approval authority for assigned systems · Obtain Certification & Accreditation (C&A) for assigned systems · Administer user identification and authentication mechanisms · Plan and coordinate IT security programs and policies · Interact with Government customers, IT staff, and high-level corporate officers to define and achieve IA objectives Qualifications Required: · Exceptional integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to abide by MTSI's core values · Strong leadership and communication skills · Experience as an ISSO Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical discipline Certification Requirements: Compliance with DoDD 8140 IAM Level I requirements Clearance Requirements: TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph #LI-RC1
