About The Position

Position Summary: The IT Infrastructure Architect is responsible for designing, supporting, and maintaining scalable, secure, and resilient IT infrastructure solutions that align with the organization’s business operations and strategic goals. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of enterprise systems and networks. US – Seattle only : This position is open to candidates in the Seattle area. You will have a hybrid remote/in-office schedule where you will work from our casual, pet-friendly office at least 3 days a week .

Requirements

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in IT infrastructure architecture, with deep expertise in: Cloud computing (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), Networking (LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs), Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), and Disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise IT and information security frameworks.

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Cisco CCNP, VMware Certified Professional) are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement robust IT infrastructure solutions, including cloud platforms, networking, and virtualization technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and enforce infrastructure standards that align with enterprise IT and Information Security policies.
  • Lead initiatives related to disaster recovery and business continuity planning to ensure operational resilience.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance infrastructure scalability and security.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure architecture, standards, and procedures.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to infrastructure teams and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal security policies.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain optimal uptime and reliability.
