About The Position

Imperial Dade, a leading North American distributor, has an Inside Business Development Specialist opportunity available in Denver, CO! This is your chance to join a strong and collaborative sales group, helping to continue to grow our business! The Inside Business Development Specialist is responsible for maintaining/growing active small to medium size accounts while actively prospecting for new business. Some customers may have extensive item catalogs with multiple ship-to’s requiring nuanced and dedicated account managers. The schedule for this position is on-site, Monday through Friday from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm. Salary: $58,656 - $60,000 annually Deadline to Apply: February 28, 2026

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience in an outbound call center or a related sales/account management position preferred
  • Excellent communication, listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software

Responsibilities

  • Serve as account manager for established accounts with large catalogs and multiple ship-to’s
  • Build and sustain long-lasting relationships with new and existing customers
  • Meet or exceed sales targets by selling our products to new and existing customers
  • Help develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive sales (emphasis on prospecting and outbound sales calls/correspondence)
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, customer accounts, sales and overall account activity
  • Collaborate with vendors, internal team and prospects to expand brand presence and promote Imperial Dade product lines
  • Strategically negotiate with potential and existing customers to close sales
  • Communicate with customers and prospects through outbound calls and electronic media to drive new sales and secure exiting business
  • Determine customers' needs through consultative sales tactics to identify opportunities
  • Keep up with product, service and internal company updates
  • Create and maintain a database of current and potential customers
  • Explain and demonstrate features of products and services
  • Demonstrate industry and product knowledge
  • Develop a strong understanding of National programs
  • Troubleshoot challenges between program partners and Imperial Dade platforms, customer issues etc.
  • Communicate directly with Imperial Dade department heads through daily correspondence and regularly scheduled meetings
  • Handle on-site customer trouble shooting and situation analysis when required
