Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 2 years of plumbing industry experience
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Friendly, positive attitude with strong customer service focus
  • Self-motivated with strong initiative
  • Critical thinker with problem-solving abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to learn company software systems (Eclipse)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to interact professionally with customers, coworkers, and management

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with regular and prospective customers
  • Demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit sales
  • Recommend products based on customer needs and applications
  • Answer customer questions regarding products, pricing, availability, and product usage
  • Prepare accurate estimates, bids, and quotes that meet customer requirements
  • Follow up on submitted bids and estimates to secure business
  • Provide customers with product literature, catalogs, and technical information
  • Coordinate and direct the delivery of products to customers and job sites
  • Visit job sites as needed to assist with troubleshooting and product support
  • Process warranty claims and assist with product returns when necessary
  • Provide post-sale support to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Participate in trade organizations, trade shows, and industry events
  • Attend product training and industry education opportunities
  • Assist customers after hours when necessary, including occasional early openings for contractors
  • Provide reports and complete additional tasks as requested by the Branch Manager
  • Perform other duties as assigned
