Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in solution selling, preferably with a focus on UC/CC, cybersecurity, enterprise networking, data center, and cloud solutions.
  • Experience engaging with Public Sector clients, including cities, counties, boards, districts, K12, and higher education institutions.
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to connect across all organizational levels.
  • Proven ability to sell complex technical solutions and demonstrate technical aptitude.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and sales forecasting tools.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based solutions and professional services, along with the ability to articulate value to clients.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience with CRM systems, LinkedIn, and sales intelligence platforms like ZoomInfo is a plus.
  • Prior experience with solution providers or IT/communications technology companies is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Drive growth within the Public Sector segment by developing and managing client relationships across cities, counties, boards, commissions, K12, and higher education institutions.
  • Collaborate with client executives to identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts and target growth accounts.
  • Support forecasting, quoting, order tracking, and reporting to ensure accurate pipeline management.
  • Maintain technical expertise in all product offerings, including UC/CC, cybersecurity, enterprise networking, cloud solutions, and professional services.
  • Resolve client escalations or complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in industry events and stay informed on emerging technologies and trends to enhance sales knowledge and techniques.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as sales support, marketing, services, and purchasing to achieve assigned targets.
  • Introduce innovative solutions to clients, helping them see opportunities to improve or expand their technology usage.
