The primary purpose of the Inside Sales Technical Specialist (ISTS) is to provide estimating, quoting, quote follow up, and market price tracking support to Deck Division Outside Sales Representatives (OSRs). This includes supporting all sales territories during OSR absences and vacations. Position will also support sales growth by looking to identify, develop, and manage the lower volume customer base for the division. ISTS will serve as first line technical support for customers and general technical inquiries received by Customer Service Representatives and through the ASC website. This role supports sales growth by delivering accurate estimates, responsive quotations, and technical product guidance to customers and OSR’s. Additional sales growth is supported by the development of lower volume customer base. The Inside Sales Technical Specialist will work closely with the ASC Deck OSR team, Technical Representative and Project Management team. It is important for the incumbent to be self-organized, demonstrate the drive to generate leads via various communication channels and possess the curiosity to grow in the sales profession.
