About The Position

The DC Institutional Client Advisor Support Specialist will be responsible for assisting with the identification and cultivation of Defined Contribution institutional prospects and clients, preparing business presentations, coordinating internal resources/partners, as well as more generally assisting with the closing of institutional sales.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of investment industry or investment sales experience
  • Experienced user of SalesForce CRM and Tableau systems
  • Holds or is willing to obtain Series 7, Series 63, and Series 3 licenses
  • Familiarity with Defined Contribution, investments and markets
  • BA/BS degree (MBA/CFA candidate a plus)
  • Willing to travel as necessary

Responsibilities

  • Participate as key member of a dedicated DC Solutions team focused on direct relationship building and asset gathering within a defined set of clients
  • Develop knowledge of the DC Solutions product offering and understanding of all PGIM single asset class strategies processes, resources, and capabilities.
  • Support DC Institutional client advisors with on-going sales and sales-related communication with clients and prospects.
  • Interface with key business partners/stakeholders across PGIM to organize meetings and coordinate presentation materials.
  • Prepare materials providing background on institutional prospects including bios, plan details (research MMD, Brightscope, websites, other market intelligence databases, etc.)
  • Develop understanding of the distinct sponsor channels (corporate, publics, Taft-Hartley, higher education, hospital and non-for-profit, etc.) active in the target date and retirement income space, and how PGIM capabilities and strategies map within the various channels.
  • Attend occasional industry association meetings and related conferences with, and as directed by, the client advisory group.
