About The Position

We are seeking a talented, creative Instructional Designer to join our Learning and Development team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about adult learning, enjoys building engaging eLearning experiences, and wants their work to make a meaningful impact across a growing national organization. In this role, you won’t just build courses, you’ll help shape how our franchisees learn, grow, and succeed. Why Join Comfort Keepers? Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in eLearning content design and development.
  • Proficiency with Articulate 360 (especially Storyline); experience with Canva, Camtasia, and Animaker is strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of instructional design methodologies and adult learning best practices.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
  • A commitment to high-quality work and continuous learning.

Nice To Haves

  • A bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Adult Learning, Educational Technology, or a related field (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Leading the full lifecycle of training design, development, launch, and evaluation.
  • Partnering with stakeholders and subject matter experts to conduct needs assessments and identify learning opportunities.
  • Applying instructional design models and adult learning principles to create engaging, scalable learning solutions.
  • Design and develop a variety of training materials, including:
  • eLearning modules (Articulate 360 / Storyline)
  • Instructor-led training (virtual and in-person)
  • Job aids, participant guides, and performance support tools
  • Maintaining high quality standards through editing, proofreading, and continuous improvement.
  • Potentially, produce compelling multimedia content such as videos, animations, and podcasts to enrich the learning experience.
  • Potentially, facilitate training sessions and webinars as needed.
  • Supporting additional learning initiatives and projects as needed.
