About This Role: The Intake Manager is responsible for the overall leadership of the Intake Team, this includes but is not limited to interviewing, hiring, and training new employees, planning, directing, overseeing and leading the work of the Intake staff, as well as implementing strategies and suggestions from the Program Director or Senior Program Director. The Manager has a large focus on an employee-oriented department that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, key employee retention and development, and high performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field; plus two years of on-the-job experience in a related field.
  • 2-5 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a related field.
  • Demonstrate forward thinking, creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational, problem solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Must possess intellectual strength and have an understanding of internal systems needed to support the team and new clients.
  • Must pass a background study with the Minnesota Department of Human Services.
  • Have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and reliable transportation to use for work driving purposes.
  • Ability to travel independently across the Accra geographic service areas.
