In support of our growth as a leading IoT Solutions Accelerator, Mesh Systems seeks to hire an Integrated Supply Chain Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be a member of our cohesive IoT solutions team working in a modern agile environment. As we scale, you will lead and enhance our sourcing and procurement functions, ensuring efficient and reliable operations. This is a hybrid position with both work from home/in-office, and work will be based out of our Headquarters in Indianapolis, IN (specifically Carmel, IN) or Innovation Center in Appleton, WI, reporting directly to the Director of Things Engineering.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5–10 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in IoT, electronics, or manufacturing industries.
  • Strong negotiation skills with proven success in building and managing supplier relationships.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in data-driven decision-making and problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Expertise in sourcing electronic components and working with contract manufacturers.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and supply chain management tools.
  • Knowledge of FCC, IPC, or other industry standards.
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks or similar tools.
  • Experience in auditing suppliers, managing compliance with quality and PPAP processes.

Responsibilities

  • Supply Management
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for electronic components and contract manufacturers, and work with Quality and Operations at-large with vendor qualification and setup.
  • Negotiate contracts to achieve favorable pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
  • Review and own customer supplier agreements, ensuring all agreements are in place.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliability and quality.
  • Proactively conduct regular market analysis to identify opportunities and mitigate and/or resolve constraints and risks in sourcing pipelines and strategies. Communicate findings to key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead key strategy and operating procedures on shipping logistics, especially international logistics, including tariffs.
  • Communicate to internal and external stakeholders, including leadership and project teams.
  • Support creating or refining procedures related to inventory tracking and supply chain processes as needed to improve efficiency, consistency, and clarity across internal teams.
  • Manage end-to-end supply chain activities supporting IoT hardware programs from prototype builds through production.
  • Procurement Management
  • Manage procurement activities, including generating and tracking purchase orders (POs) to meet project requirements.
  • Ensure the timely delivery of materials and services by closely coordinating with suppliers and logistics partners.
  • Monitor supplier performance and proactively address any quality, delivery, or compliance issues.
  • Oversee inventory management in collaboration with the Operations teammates to minimize disruptions and optimize costs by avoiding excess and obsolescence of raw materials and finished goods inventory.
  • Work directly with vendors to resolve quality issues, quantity discrepancies, or damaged goods, including coordinating returns, replacements, and documentation as needed.
  • Strategic Leadership
  • Work closely with program managers and engineering teams to align supply chain strategy and activities with product development milestones.
  • Support the development and implementation of supply chain best practices, including cost-saving initiatives and efficiency improvements.
  • Lead monthly engagements with contract manufacturers and coordinate annual supplier audits.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to executive leadership based on supply chain performance metrics and trends.
