About The Position

This is a professional position providing Intensive Case Management services in the Treatment Works (TW 2.0) Program under the Outpatient Services Division. The TW 2.0 program provides children's therapy and High-Fidelity Wraparound (HFW) services that are designed for children who have experienced trauma, including loss and grief, depression, anxiety, abuse histories and addictions. These services can be provided in office or in the community. TW 2.0 services can be for the youth or the family, and assists in managing mild to moderate behavioral or emotional needs which can stem from trauma, including school behavior difficulties, adoption related issues, thoughts of suicide or self-harm, abuse histories, and addictions. All TW 2.0 programming utilizes the High Fidelity Wraparound model and a solution-focused, family centered approach and evidenced based or research supported practices to assist children and families in problem solving skills, behavior strategies, and anger management skills, among other therapeutic interventions. Directions for Living is an essential services provider. All Directions for Living employees must be willing and able to provide vital support and essential services to the people that we serve in the event of an emergency, pandemic or other disaster situation.

Requirements

  • At least two years' experience with in human services or child welfare programs with a Bachelor's degree in social work or a related area.
  • Must possess a reliable vehicle to drive to do field work and maintain a safe driving record, maintain specific automobile insurance coverage as required by the organization and undergo an annual vehicle safety inspection if transporting clients.
  • Must possess or be eligible for targeted case management certification and Medicaid billing provider number.
  • Must become a Provisional Certified Behavioral Health Case Manager within your first 90 days, and fully certified within one year of hire.
  • Must become certified as a Wraparound Facilitator in high fidelity Wraparound within 3 months of employment.
  • Must acquire knowledge of community resources.
  • Experience with families and children.
  • Experience with school aged children with histories of suicidal thoughts or actions.

Nice To Haves

  • Preference will be given to individuals certified as a Wraparound Facilitator in high fidelity Wraparound.
