The Intensive Therapist position exists to provide direct services Focus on the Family’s (FOTF) Hope Restored Marriage Intensives. This position also provides non-direct services including oversight of training program and new trainees, research, writing, speaking, program/product development, and/or committee work. Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Conducts a total of 21 direct service units (DSU) of intensive work or enrichment event facilitation per month (1 DSU = ½ day) Participates in various clinical team projects and activities outside of Intensive time as assigned by the Site Clinical Director and/or FMI Clinical Director Develops procedures for Marriage Coaches and Follow-up Phone Counseling services Coordinates aftercare resources and serves as liaison for the Marriage Coaching program Maintains and administers training programs, including online and curriculum components and general awareness of trainees throughout the system and the staffing picture for each site Oversees trainee progress for both internal and external trainees (Act as trainee advisor) Participates in FMI research program (procedure, data entry, summary, and reporting) Coordinates enrichment services including scheduling events, training, and updating facilitators, and facilitating services Provides occasional on-call services which includes consultation with registrars regarding registration decisions and is available to help staff manage crisis situations Creatively contributes to the FMI products such as newsletters, participant manuals, and/or enrichment events Maintains weekly contact with management to discuss prioritization and coordination of work assignments/responsibilities Protects the integrity of the FOTF/FMI brand, model, and culture Participates in monthly site Clinical Team meetings, Core Clinical Team meetings, and Didactic meetings Regularly attends retreat center staff meetings and events Other Duties/Responsibilities: Performs other duties, including but not limited to duties as assigned, some of which may include the development and creation of a variety of copyrightable works (e.g., print, photography, film, music, visual arts, etc.) for distribution in all media and formats (such as television, radio, internet, wireless, DVD, satellite and digital) on a world-wide basis, all of which shall be for the benefit of Focus on the Family
