Requirements

  • Engineering Degree in progress
  • Basic Proficiency with 2D/3D CAD software
  • Basic Proficiency with Microsoft Visio
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Good project management, communication, and training skills
  • Ability to work as a self-starter and as a team member in a demanding industrial environment
  • Ability to analyze data and processes as well as use problem solving methods to identify root causes and find best solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and run an Industrial Engineering project focused on Lean initiatives
  • Learn to perform utilization studies, time studies, or other direct observation-based studies to conduct statistical analysis
  • Gain knowledge about aerospace industry, materials, and methods used for assembly
  • Work as part of a small team supporting aerospace manufacturing process
  • Compile lists of potential improvements that can be made and help implement these changes
