About The Position

We welcome individuals who are currently pursuing an undergraduate (BS) and/or graduate (MS) degree to participate in paid intern opportunities at our site in Orlando, FL. Through this role you will gain meaningful, hands-on experience working for a HealthTech company. Your role: Operate and support 3D printing activities using multiple additive manufacturing technologies, ensuring quality and efficiency in prototype and production applications. Perform product geometry evaluation and tolerance analysis using metrology tools such as 3D scanners, optical comparators, and other precision measurement equipment. Assist in managing a dedicated departmental support process that directly impacts manufacturing and production workflows for Philips’ medical technology products, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient operational processes. Support day-to-day departmental operations, including hands-on tasks essential to maintaining production flow, ensuring product quality, managing inventory, and providing technical support. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within a fast-paced, dynamic environment while exercising autonomy within established procedures. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations. This is an onsite role. Philips Transparency Details The hourly pay range for this position is $26.00 to $29.00 for bachelor’s candidates and $33.00 to $46.00 for master’s candidates, plus overtime eligible. The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case. Requirements

• You are pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related technical field and are currently enrolled in an accredited academic program.
• You have a foundational understanding of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methodologies.
• You possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
• You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position .
