About The Position

As an Intern in our Product Design Team, you will be a key contributor to our SquishPillows product line. You will move through the entire product lifecycle for soft goods—from initial trend research and textile print design to final digital renderings—collaborating closely with senior designers to bring innovative comfort products to the home and lifestyle market.

Requirements

• A genuine interest in soft goods, textile design, and the "SquishPillows" aesthetic.
• Technical Proficiency in digital design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/Illustrator)
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain a desire to learn the technical constraints of manufacturing, articulation, and safety standards.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, presenting creative ideas clearly and taking constructive feedback.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, handling multiple tasks and deadlines.
• A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively.
• Solid time management, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Open to undergraduate, or graduate students currently enrolled in an accredited institution.
• Open to high school rising seniors , undergraduate , and graduate students currently enrolled in an accredited educational institution.
• Must not have graduated prior to March 2026.
• Must be able to commit to the full 10-week program , working onsite Monday through Thursday and remotely on Fridays , for a total of 40 hours per week .
• Must have authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship, now or in the future.
• Must be able to commute to the internship location for the duration of the program.
• Must successfully pass a background check as part of the hiring process.

Nice To Haves

• 3D modeling/rendering software (e.g., ZBrush, Rhino, SolidWorks, or Keyshot ) is a plus.
• CLO3d Experience a plus, but not required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create original graphics, repeat patterns, and print layouts specifically for pillowcases and soft furnishings.
• Collaborate with the design team to brainstorm and contribute to the creation of innovative home decor concepts that align with current market trends and consumer preferences.
• Utilize your artistic skills to create detailed digital renderings of product concepts, ensuring they are visually appealing and meet technical design specifications.
• Engage with Brand, Packaging, and Product Development departments to ensure seamless communication and alignment throughout the development process.
• Contribute to the creation of detailed Product Design Specifications for manufacturing, ensuring clear communication of print dimensions, fabric requirements, and construction intent.
• Participate in the review process of physical textile samples, providing feedback on color accuracy, fabric feel, and overall quality.
• Stay informed about home decor trends, emerging textile technologies, and competitor products to provide valuable insights to the design team.
• Occasionally may need to assist the costumes design department when needed on concepts and technical design specifications.
