About The Position

What you’ll do: On this 6-month program as a Manufacturing Engineering Intern / Co-Op , you’ll gain practical experience on real-life assignments within one of our core areas that will put your theoretical knowledge to the test. Along the way, you’ll work alongside some true experts and be taught valuable skills. As an intern, you’ll be assigned a manufacturing engineer as your line manager and career coach, so you’ll be learning directly from a skilled professional. And all the projects you do will be in support of a real business need, with a direct link to our products and customers. It makes for a fantastic opportunity to share your ideas and really make a difference. Not only will you receive on-the-job training, you’ll develop a host of transferable skills. Your day-to-day tasks will vary, and you’ll receive support from different people within the business, all of whom will be committed to helping you to deliver your best. What you’ll need: Candidates will have strong demonstrations of interpersonal skills, curiosity, problem solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills. Candidates will be able to/have: Ability to take initiative/self-directed Ability to work effectively in a team environment Strong verbal and written skills How to identify a problem Understanding of how to scope a task Understanding how to interpret data and apply it to a decision or next action step as needed Understanding the concept of continuous improvement Relevant Majors: Attending an accredited college/university working towards a bachelor’s degree: Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering/or Technology Industrial Engineering/or Technology Minimum GPA: 3.0 Preferred qualifications (not required): Understanding and experience with CAD but not required Experience with drawing/blueprint interpretation but not required Prior manufacturing internship/co-op preferred but not required Experience in CNC machining preferred but not required Work Authorization Eligibility: You must be a U.S. Citizen.
