Along the way, you’ll work alongside some true experts and be taught valuable skills. As an intern, you’ll be assigned a manufacturing engineer as your line manager and career coach, so you’ll be learning directly from a skilled professional. And all the projects you do will be in support of a real business need, with a direct link to our products and customers. It makes for a fantastic opportunity to share your ideas and really make a difference. Not only will you receive on-the-job training, you’ll develop a host of transferable skills. Your day-to-day tasks will vary, and you’ll receive support from different people within the business, all of whom will be committed to helping you to deliver your best. What you’ll need: Candidates will have strong demonstrations of interpersonal skills, curiosity, problem solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills. Candidates will be able to/have: Ability to take initiative/self-directed Ability to work effectively in a team environment Strong verbal and written skills How to identify a problem Understanding of how to scope a task Understanding how to interpret data and apply it to a decision or next action step as needed Understanding the concept of continuous improvement Relevant Majors: Attending an accredited college/university working towards a bachelor’s degree: Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering/or Technology Industrial Engineering/or Technology Minimum GPA: 3.0 Preferred qualifications (not required): Understanding and experience with CAD but not required Experience with drawing/blueprint interpretation but not required Prior manufacturing internship/co-op preferred but not required Experience in CNC machining preferred but not required Work Authorization Eligibility: You must be a U.S. Citizen.
