Consistently provides service excellence to all patients, family members, visitors, volunteers and co-workers. Challenges current working practices identifies process improvement opportunities and presents recommendations and solutions to management. Engages and commits to the organization’s culture of continuous improvement by actively participating, supporting, and promoting CCHC Pillars of Excellence. Provides input on the development of audit plans and executes identified audits. Prepares narrative descriptions, flowcharts and other related documentation. Obtains, analyzes and appraises relevant data as a basis for an informed and objective opinion as to the adequacy and effectiveness of controls and area being reviewed, with special attention to vulnerabilities which may allow fraudulent and/or other undesirable activities to occur including non-compliance with CCHC requirements. Produces well organized work papers to accurately support findings. Conducts periodic checks to ensure that implemented changes related to prior audit findings are maintained and that audit objectives have been achieved and appropriately reported. Keeps actively informed on the business climate of the health care industry. Keeps up to date with new accounting pronouncements, audit guidelines, CCHC policies and procedures and laws and regulations pertinent to the industry. Provides other assistance within the Department and to the organization as reasonably required.
