Young Leadership in Housing Program Highlights: 10-week paid leadership development program Full-Time schedule: 40 hours per week Paid mileage for approved work-related travel College credit available (school approval required) Structured rotational experience across departments Hands-on mentorship from experienced professionals Exposure to the full scope of Affordable Housing operations Program Overview & Responsibilities: Participants in the Young Leaders in Housing Program will rotate through multiple departments within CRM Rental Management, Inc., gaining firsthand experience in both corporate and site-level operations. Interns will support daily functions, assist with special projects, and build foundational knowledge of the affordable housing industry. Rotations may include experience in the following departments: Human Resources (HR) Marketing Accounting Central Purchasing Risk Management Information Technology (IT) Compliance Community Management Maintenance Liberty Affordable Housing (Construction Management, Project Management, and Marketing)

Requirements

  • College student or age-appropriate candidate eligible for internship participation
  • Interest in Affordable Housing, Leadership, Business, or Property Management
  • Basic computer skills; familiarity with Microsoft Office preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Positive, professional, and adaptable attitude
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment
  • Valid government-issued ID required
  • Must be able to pass a 5-year background check.
  • We also conduct pre-employment drug testing.
  • Any job offer will be based on the results of background and drug testing.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with administrative, operational, and project-based tasks
  • Supporting department initiatives and process improvements
  • Learning industry regulations, policies, and best practices
  • Interacting professionally with staff, residents, vendors, and partners
  • Observing and participating in day-to-day business operations
