GCU Traditional Campus – Phoenix, AZ: Courses are in-person and on-campus for the Fall 2026 Semester (09/08/2026 - 12/13/2026) Course: Introduction to Information Technology This course provides an introduction to the role of computing technology within business and corporate environments. Introductions to concepts, terminologies, and a wide use of relevant daily software and tools relevant to any career in the information technology field. Topics include: Technology-integrated academics, digital networking concepts, systems administration and maintenance, information security, database and transactional systems, cloud technologies, scripting, and project management.
Requirements
- Masters (or higher) in Information Technology or related field. All instructors must have 2-5 years' experience designing and/or implementing Enterprise server systems in a mid to large size organizations. All instructors must have skills in latest MS Server and Linux Administration, Server Roles, Active Directory management, and the ability to setup/manage/troubleshoot multi-layered architectures.
- OR- Bachelors (or higher) in Information Technology or related field. All instructors must have 7-10 years' experience designing and/or implementing Enterprise server systems in a mid to large size organization. All instructors must have skills in the latest MS Server and Linux Administration, Server Roles, Active Directory management, and the ability to setup/manage/troubleshoot multi-layered architectures.

Nice To Haves
- Preference given to individuals holding current certifications in Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA): Windows Server.

- Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
