Regular in person collaboration with plant operations, planning, and sales partners is essential to your success and to driving timely action. About Sensient Agricultural Ingredients Sensient Agricultural Ingredients is one of the largest producers and distributors in the world of dehydrated onion and garlic products as well as chili powder, paprika, chili pepper and dehydrated vegetables such as parsley, celery, and spinach. These ingredients are used in many of today's popular convenience foods. The Agricultural Ingredients business has sites located in Turlock and Livingston California and Deming, New Mexico.

Requirements

  • A bachelor level degree, preferably in accounting, finance, or a related business field
  • Experience in business or financial analysis with exposure to inventory or supply chain processes
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into practical, actionable insights
  • A high level of ownership, curiosity, and comfort working independently with guidance rather than close supervision
  • The ability to collaborate effectively across functions and influence outcomes without direct authority
  • Solid financial understanding and awareness of how inventory impacts financial performance
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities at the same time

Responsibilities

  • Monitor inventory movement and condition to ensure accuracy, quality, and timely action
  • Identify inventory risks such as aging, excess, or faulty materials and drive mitigation plans
  • Partner closely with sales planning, operations, procurement, and research teams to resolve inventory issues
  • Lead product evaluation efforts including shelf-life extensions, rework opportunities, substitutions, returns, and disposal
  • Manage the cycle count program to ensure inventory accuracy and compliance with company expectations
  • Analyze root causes of inventory challenges and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
  • Communicate inventory status, action plans, and progress updates to key stakeholders on a regular basis
