About The Position

We are looking for a Inventory Controller to join our laboratory team in Knoxville, TN. This role is critical to ensuring accurate inventory management and smooth operations within a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
Basic computer skills
Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Comfortable with frequent walking, standing, bending, and occasional squatting

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with SAP
Previous experience in material handling, shipping/receiving, inventory, or logistics
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry

Responsibilities

Perform physical and administrative tasks related to shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing materials, supplies, specimens, and equipment.
Receive and document incoming materials and specimens, reconciling against packing lists.
Investigate and resolve inbound and outbound shipment delays, ensuring timely communication and troubleshooting.
Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage areas, ensuring security and accountability.
Prepare and ship materials to other locations, maintaining accurate shipping records.
Adhere to all safety regulations and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) policies, including proper use of PPE.
Maintain facility standards, including laboratory and grounds, in compliance with SOPs.
Uphold confidentiality and professionalism in handling company records and information.
Lift up to 50 lbs as needed for daily tasks.
Perform other duties as assigned.
