About The Position

STORE Capital Advisors, LLC is seeking a team orientated, self starter with credit analysis experience to join our Credit Underwriting team. How you will contribute to STORE’s mission: The Investment Analyst is part of STORE’s Credit Underwriting team responsible for reviewing and analyzing tenant financial statements for STORE’s existing $15 billion portfolio and supporting the underwriting of new transactions. The Investment Analyst has strong organizational skills and is team oriented with exceptional quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Business, Finance, and or related area required
  • 0–3 years of relevant work experience in commercial real estate, banking, or a related area; at least 1 year of credit analysis preferred
  • Familiarity with financial statement analysis, including Income Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements
  • Strong ability to critically evaluate financial data and determine the creditworthiness of a company as a tenant
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines
  • Demonstrated intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, and a strong work ethic
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality work under pressure

Responsibilities

  • Support efforts to underwrite, negotiate and manage single-tenant-net-lease exposure across the United States, which includes the preparation of detailed investment memoranda and presentation materials to Senior Management.
  • Analysis of property level and corporate financial statements for STORE’s existing customers as well as potential acquisitions.
  • Form and communicate investment theses as well as strategies to mitigate any risks across tenants and industries.
  • Work closely with Acquisitions, Real Estate, Special Servicing and Accounting teams.
  • Perform other duties and projects assigned by Senior Vice President, Portfolio Management.
