Investment Banking Analysts are an integral part of the Investment Banking team. They are directly involved in the design, origination, structuring, and execution of investment banking products and services for existing and prospective clients. Analysts participate in client meetings, due diligence visits, and other client interactions during which they gain exposure to key executives and senior bankers. The Analyst provides these services as part of a team consisting of Associates, Vice Presidents, Directors, and Managing Directors. About this role: Our Equity Capital Markets (ECM) team is seeking a 2nd year Investment Banking Analyst to support the Consumer Retail team at our New York City office. In this role, you will: Participate in analyzing companies, develop strategies for clients, pull market and industry research, and complete a trading simulation within Investment Banking Mid-Year Program Review strategies for clients, build detailed financial models, analyze market data, and prepare client presentations related to low-to-medium risk tasks and deliverables Receive direction from a manager and exercise independent judgment while developing understanding of compliance and risk management requirements for the supported area Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals Interact with internal and external customers
