About The Position

The IT Audio Visual Analyst II plays a key role in ensuring reliable audio-visual services for meetings, presentations, and events. The position involves configuring and maintaining a wide range of AV equipment, from teleconferencing systems to multimedia devices. The analyst documents all service activities, manages inventory, and researches emerging technologies to provide recommendations that enhance organizational capabilities. This position requires strong technical troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in dynamic environments.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Electronics, or 6 years equivalent AV work experience, or a combination of education and experience.
  • Hands-on troubleshooting experience with AV equipment.
  • Technical knowledge of teleconferencing, presentation, and other AV hardware.
  • Ability to operate AV tools, components, and accessories; mechanically inclined.
  • Skilled at reading technical manuals and OEM documentation.
  • Strong customer service orientation and effective interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced written and oral communication skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to research hardware products and resolve issues effectively.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain gaming authority licensing.
  • Capable of lifting and adjusting heavy objects, scaling ladders, and operating lifts while following safety protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver audio-visual service levels according to company policies and user requirements.
  • Set up, configure, test, maintain, and troubleshoot AV systems, including teleconferencing equipment, monitors, projectors, and presentation tools.
  • Respond to support requests via calls, emails, or pages regarding AV software and hardware issues.
  • Document installation, repair, and removal of AV equipment.
  • Maintain spare parts inventory and audit AV equipment to mitigate risk of loss or damage.
  • Perform Tier 1 and 2 troubleshooting, using appropriate testing tools and making necessary repairs.
  • Provide recommendations for AV system design, controls, and new product purchases.
  • Place and verify AV equipment and supply orders, ensuring quality upon delivery.
  • Conduct research to support procurement and system development efforts.
