Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree in a technical field of study required.
  • Four years of directly related work experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with Progress programming and database administration.
  • Minimum of 1 years of experience with QAD Mfg/Pro ERP applications in a manufacturing environment.
  • Leadership experience with programmers and/or administrative positions to effectively direct and coordinate staff to achieve clear goals and implement successful solutions.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills.

  • Experience with React, SQL script

Responsibilities

  • Support manufacturing systems related to QAD ERP systems, data collection systems, administrative applications, and other Norplas implemented applications.
  • Maintain databases on QAD Progress servers to provide a secure and robust operating environment.
  • Coordinate all EDI administration to ensure accurate and effective flow of information from customers and to suppliers and partners.
  • Control and Coordinate all application development, automated inventory transactions and inventory accuracy related to Norplas sequencing facilities.
  • Coordinate design and development efforts related to new ERP/EDI projects and support the implementation and ongoing use of these applications.
  • Support Norplas users when required with application questions and problems related to QAD, MS Office, Windows, etc.
  • Work with the Network Administrators to deploy a robust architecture that will facilitate growth of new applications being developed and deployed.
  • Ensure ERP system backups and maintenance plans are sufficient and effective to protect Norplas data and applications.
