About The Position

The Help Desk / IT Support Specialist is the first point of contact for employees experiencing technical issues. This role provides timely, customer-focused support across hardware, software, and access-related problems while escalating complex issues appropriately. The ideal candidate is patient, detail-oriented, and enjoys helping others use technology effectively.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in an IT support or help desk role
  • Strong understanding of: Windows and/or macOS Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint) Basic networking concepts (Wi-Fi, DNS, VPN)
  • Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira, Zendesk, Freshservice, etc.)
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for IT support requests via ticketing system, phone, email, and chat
  • Troubleshoot and resolve common issues related to: Windows and macOS Office 365 / Microsoft 365 Email, printers, VPN, and network connectivity Password resets, MFA, and access requests
  • Provide clear, friendly communication to non-technical users
  • Set up, configure, and deploy laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals
  • Manage user accounts in Active Directory / Entra ID (Azure AD)
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding of employees
  • Maintain asset inventory and documentation
  • Log, track, and update tickets in the ITSM system
  • Prioritize issues based on impact and urgency
  • Escalate unresolved or complex issues to senior IT staff
  • Follow up with users to ensure resolution and satisfaction
