About The Position
IT Project Manager - PMP - Health Care W2 Position - Contract - Onsite (Austin-Texas) - State Government Project Required Skills 8+ years of IT Project Management experience 8+ years working in the Information Technology industry, Including at least 5 years in one or more of the following: Data management solutions (Data Warehouses, Data Lakes), Data analytics / Business Intelligence, Web-based development (J2EE), SOA-related technologies 8+ years of excellent verbal and written communication skills 8+ years developing clear, concise project documentation 8+ years managing teams, including Team meetings, Task assignment Mentoring, facilitation, and training 8+ years monitoring project progress and managing risks effectively 8+ years providing regular project status updates to leadership 8+ years demonstrating expert problem-resolution skills 8+ years of complete experience with: Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC), Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) 8+ years tracking full project budgets and entering actual costs into project tracking tools 8+ years leading Agile project sprints, including Increment planning, Backlog grooming, Sprint planning, Daily scrums, Retrospectives, Kanban Active PMP Certification (minimum 3 years) 8 or more years of experience, relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated tasks, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Certification in Scrum Master a plus.
Requirements
- 8+ years of IT Project Management experience
- 8+ years working in the Information Technology industry, Including at least 5 years in one or more of the following: Data management solutions (Data Warehouses, Data Lakes), Data analytics / Business Intelligence, Web-based development (J2EE), SOA-related technologies
- 8+ years of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- 8+ years developing clear, concise project documentation

- 8+ years providing regular project status updates to leadership

- Active PMP Certification (minimum 3 years)

Nice To Haves
- 6+ years’ experience in the Healthcare industry, specifically Public Health
- 6+ years managing multi-agency or multi-IT department initiatives
- 6+ years’ experience working within a Health and Human Services agency
- 5+ years managing weekly relationship activities with TSS Sprint Teams for the State of Texas
- 5+ years managing resources in a mixed functional and matrixed project environment
- 5+ years developing, documenting, and executing: Project Management Plans, Work Plans
- Quality Plans
- 5+ years involved in the full project lifecycle: Analysis and planning, Development, Deployment
- 5+ years building and managing IT project teams with strong motivational leadership
- 3+ years’ experience with Access & Eligibility programs.
- Certification in Scrum Master a plus.
