The North Carolina Office of the State Auditor (OSA) is your fiscal watchdog. We audit more than $100 billion in state assets and liabilities each year, bringing transparency to local, state, and federal government. Our reports and findings include recommendations that result in good government reforms. OSA thoroughly investigates alleged cases of fraud, waste, and abuse of taxpayer dollars, working with law enforcement on prosecution when warranted. The Office of the State Auditor (OSA) is seeking an IT Manager to serve within our Information Technology Division. As a part of our team, you will get to: Plan, coordinate, and lead multiple small to large, complex IT projects across functional areas and divisions Provide guidance and counsel to managers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams regarding project risks, issues, and process re-engineering Apply and advocate Project Management best practices, including estimation methodologies, earned value calculations, and Risk Assessment/Mitigation Plans (RAMP) Establish and enforce quality assurance and testing practices for all project phases; manage issues and risks to effectively control and mitigate project impacts
