About The Position

Our 120-bed facility will feature evidence-based treatment for adolescents, adults, and older adults. We are looking for looking for an IT Specialist to join our team. The IT Specialist, provides technical support for networking technologies for administrating and managing the setup, maintenance, repairing work of network systems and system components. The analyst must resolve and troubleshoot any malfunctions involved with networks or network components. The analyst must troubleshoot any malfunctions with the phone and camera systems. Requirements

  • The IT Specialist position requires:
  • Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required. A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in information services (experience to a networked (i.e. Ethernet) environment and supporting IBM AS/400 operations) is required. Other relevant credentials may be accepted at the discretion of the CEO and Director of Human Resources.
  • Additional Requirements: Must be able to work with minimal supervision. May be required to work overtime and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

  • Implements IT policies, procedures and standards, ensuring conformance with UHS corporate information systems standards and objectives.
  • Instructs users in the use of computer equipment.
  • Manages the facility’s file server backup systems.
  • Provides after hours support as assigned.
  • Troubleshoots hardware, software and telephone problems.
  • Communicates and follows-up unresolved problems to support services through resolution.
  • Acts as liaison of UHS Corporate and IT&S department.
  • Oversees the installation of computer and communication hardware.
  • Performs computer equipment repairs.
  • Maintains and monitor all DVR systems.
  • Works with vendor to maintain and manage phone system.
  • Maintains facility LAN/WAN with guidance of UHS corporate IT & S department.
  • Note: The essential job functions of this position are not limited to the duties listed above. May be called upon to complete other duties as directed or assigned by supervisor.
