The IT Support Technician is responsible for maintaining, analyzing, troubleshooting and repairing computer systems, hardware and peripherals. Position Responsibilities Use remote diagnostic and maintenance tools to resolve issue when appropriate. Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots and repairs computers systems, hardware and peripherals. Maintain records of support activities as required by departmental policy. Assist in deploying, installing, and operating, automated data processing and telecommunications systems during training, exercises and management operations Provide technical support to assist with computer problems Perform tech-level functions, installation of software, virus patches, upgrades and other daily maintenance procedures. Provide basic hands-on system tech support, system maintenance and training, exercises and operations support of all servers. These include Windows servers, SQL databases, Internet web servers and associated applications. Assist in the performance of basic day-to-day system administration tasks Provide general troubleshooting on network systems. Maintain data files and monitor system configuration to ensure data integrity. Performs all duties in accordance with prescribed casino internal control policies and practices. Essential Functions Exposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to secondhand smoke, excessive noise and hectic environments. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts and/or unusual hours Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds
