Multimatic Product Services (MPS) specializes in providing account management/sales and product engineering support internally to business units and externally to the customer base. Responsibilities and Duties Perform Install, Move, and Change (IMAC) activities for hardware and software. Resolve technical issues related to PC and/or server hardware and software. Perform access control activities including user provisioning and de-provisioning. Create and maintain basic documentation, including user training documents. Provide hardware and software recommendations, including helping users assess needs and providing justification for equipment and/or services to management. Provide hands-on support for local IT infrastructure (including WAN, LAN, Wi-Fi, Avaya IP Office, Veeam backup) under direction from management / specialized teams. Participate and/or lead information gathering, requirements and analysis. Collaborate and partner with business and IT stakeholders to ensure excellent service delivery. Monitor networking equipment and servers Install, test, and administer VMWare servers Assist with the design, implementation, and ongoing support of new software and features Perform and monitor data backups Operating systems upgrades either manual or automated Monitor internet performance, network availability Oversee troubleshooting of system errors Travel Requirements This position may require domestic and internation travel up to 10%. Responding to daily trouble tickets using JIRA Modify configurations, utilities, software, etc. Order and configure computer equipment for new users Maintain accurate regional asset inventories including PC/Laptops, cell phones, desktop equipment, etc. Involved in the creation and monitoring of annual IT budgets After hours/weekend and on call work as required Responsible for developing local processes and protocol Partner with other service function departments (HR, Finance, etc.) to ensure customers are supported Maintains working knowledge of safety policies and regulations to ensure duties of self and others are performed in a safe manner Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications 3(+) years of experience in an IT support role. Relevant degree and/or certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, ITIL, etc.). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Must be able to work on-site.
