About The Position

Are you a detail-oriented cleaner with leadership potential? We are looking for a Janitorial Section Lead to join our team at a local Greensboro elementary school. In this role, you won't just be maintaining a clean environment for our students and faculty; you’ll be the "quality anchor" for your section, ensuring our standards are met every single night.

Requirements

• Experience: 1–3 years of janitorial or custodial experience (Lead experience is a plus!).
• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 35 lbs repetitively and stay on your feet for the duration of the shift.
• Reliability: Consistent attendance for the Monday–Friday, 5:00 PM – 9:30 PM shift.
• Eye for Detail: A "perfectionist" mindset when it comes to cleanliness and safety.

Responsibilities

• General Cleaning: Execute high-quality cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing restrooms.
• Waste Management: Efficiently pull trash and replace liners across assigned zones.
• Quality Control: Act as the "second set of eyes" by checking behind the cleaning team to ensure all tasks meet the project scope.
• Team Support: Assist the supervisor in coordinating tasks and ensuring the team has what they need to succeed.
• Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned to keep the school shining.
