About The Position

Are you a natural leader with an eye for detail? We are looking for a Janitorial Site Supervisor to oversee evening cleaning operations at a school facility on Ashley River Road. In this role, you won’t just be managing a facility; you’ll be managing a team to ensure students and teachers return to a pristine environment every morning.

Requirements

• Experience: At least 1–2 years of janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning experience.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to motivate a team and communicate effectively with school staff.
• Reliability: A proven track record of punctuality and consistent attendance.
• Problem Solving: Ability to handle minor scheduling shifts or equipment issues on the fly.
• Background: Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check for working in a school environment.

Nice To Haves

• Prior supervisory or "lead" experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Supervise and support a small team of custodians, ensuring all assigned zones (classrooms, gyms, offices) are completed to standard.
• Quality Control: Conduct nightly "walk-throughs" to inspect work, provide feedback, and correct any missed areas before the team clocks out.
• Training: Onboard new hires on proper chemical use, equipment handling, and school-specific safety protocols.
• Inventory Management: Monitor cleaning supplies and equipment; submit orders to ensure the team never runs out of essential tools.
• General Cleaning: Assist with cleaning tasks during staff absences or in high-priority areas as needed.
