Job duties may include but are not limited to the following: Perform a variety of skilled carpentry work in the construction, installation, erection, maintenance, fabrication and repair of wooden structure and fixtures, such as architectural woodwork, millwork, trim, concrete forms, metal and wood framing, drywall, acoustical ceilings, etc. Cut, shape and smooth lumber and other materials according to measurements Review blueprints or specifications to determine work requirements Complete assigned carpentry tasks with quality workmanship Operate a variety of power/manual tools and equipment used in skilled carpentry Perform heavy physical labor Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment Ability to perform all job duties and associated work functions in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner Ability to follow instructions from supervisors and foremen Knowledge of carpentry and construction techniques and procedures On-the-job training offered This position is safety-sensitive. Completar las tareas de carpintería asignadas con mano de obra de calidad Operar una variedad de herramientas y equipos eléctricos y manuales utilizados en carpintería especializada Realizar trabajos físicos pesados Seguir las normas y reglamentos de seguridad establecidos y mantener un entorno seguro y limpio Capacidad para realizar todas las funciones del puesto de trabajo y las tareas asociadas con atención constante y de manera segura Capacidad para seguir las instrucciones de los supervisores y capataces Conocimiento de técnicas y procedimientos de carpintería y construcción Se ofrece capacitación en el puesto de trabajo Este cargo requiere especial atención a la seguridad.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to perform basic math
- Able to withstand prolonged periods standing and working outside
- Physically able to perform assigned tasks
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds at a time
