Journeyman Electricians
About The Position
Skillforce is currently hiring experienced Journeyman Electricians for work on a water treatment plant project in Fayetteville, NC. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with a well-established electrical contractor that operates offices in North & South Carolina. Electricians on this project will support large-scale industrial electrical installations, with a focus on underground infrastructure and conduit systems. This role is ideal for electricians who have experience in heavy commercial or industrial environments and are comfortable working with large conduit, underground installations, and raceway systems.
Requirements
- Journeyman-level electrical experience (commercial or industrial)
- Proven experience installing rigid threaded conduit and raceways
- Experience with underground electrical installations and duct banks
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and project drawings
- Reliable transportation and ability to work extended hours as project needs require
Nice To Haves
- OSHA 10 Certification
- Aerial Lift Certification
- Fall Protection / Fall Safety Certification
Responsibilities
- Install threaded rigid conduit ranging from 1” to 6” in diameter
- Perform duct bank installations and other underground electrical work
- Install and secure electrical raceway systems
- Assist with layout, routing, and installation of conduit systems according to plans and specifications
- Pull wire and assist with electrical infrastructure for water treatment facility systems
- Maintain safe jobsite practices and comply with all OSHA and site safety requirements
- Work effectively with foreman, supervisors, and other trades to keep projects on schedule
