About The Position

As a Junior Account Manager, you will have inside sales responsibilities, including driving new business growth with new customers and growing existing business within a list of strategic accounts. You will be responsible for the entire sales process from call-to-close. This is a proactive prospecting role where you will be responsible for achieving a daily call volume of 25-50 cold calls per day.

Requirements

  • On-site, in office Monday - Friday preferred; remote opportunities will be considered.
  • A self-motivated “Hunter” that has a history of success in a quota-based sales environment.
  • 5+ years of Telephone / Inside Sales experience.
  • 2+ years of manufacturing or distribution sales; preferably with experience selling a mix of off-shelf and customized products.
  • Strong verbal/ phone and email communication skills.
  • Proficient with MS Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and Salesforce or similar CRM.
  • Must have organizational skills with an ability to prioritize and multi-task.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and open new accounts through lead management and prospecting
  • Grow existing business within a list of strategic accounts through lead management and prospecting
  • Cold Call and Email leads to develop new opportunities
  • Capture all prospecting activities and maintain/ update accurate customer information in Salesforce
  • Build and maintain a sales pipeline
  • Collaborate with our estimation teams to generate customer quotes
  • Work with our customer service teams to fulfill purchase orders
  • Identify areas for sales process improvement
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
