About The Position

The Junior Accountant will play a crucial role in managing the day-to-day financial activities of the company. This includes recording financial transactions, reconciling accounts, receiving funds, and the payment of bills. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and be eager to grow their knowledge in the Accounting world.

Requirements

Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role preferred
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
Solid understanding of accounting principles (GAAP) and financial regulations.
Proficiency in using business software: NetSuite, Excel, Google Workspace, Salesforce, etc.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.
Record all financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
Reconcile bank and credit card statements and ensure that all transactions are properly accounted for.
Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues with financial records.
Supporting accounts receivable activity
Monitoring the movement of funds both in and out of bank accounts.
Maintaining relationships with both customers and vendors.
Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies.
Maintain organized and comprehensive financial documentation for audit purposes.
